- I am a second year Electronic Engineering student at Southampton University. I am also the president of Student Robotics. Student Robotics (SR) provides sixth form students with the electronics, materials and the knowledge to build autonomous robots to complete challenging tasks. An annual competition, held in the Easter holidays, brings the students from local schools together to compete for the coveted SR Trophy. As president I am responsible for leading the electronics development and improving our hardware. All of our kit was developed by students from Southampton University's engineering departments. We are now in our second year.
